I used BCG Search for interview prep, and it was decent but not amazing. Some of the advice helped, especially around what firms might ask and how to explain my background better. But a lot of it felt generic, and I still had to spend a ton of time figuring things out on my own, which was kind of frustrating. It wasn’t useless or anything, but I was hoping for something more detailed and hands-on so I didn’t have to put in quite so much extra effort...

I didn’t feel great using this site. A lot of things were unclear, and the timing of their updates/messages was frustrating, especially when I was trying to stay on top of job applications. It just felt kind of off overall, and I wouldn’t trust them with my job search again

They did eventually get back to me, and everything was handled okay in the end. I just felt like the replies took longer than they should have, like maybe my message wasn’t really a priority unless I followed up. Not a terrible experience, but quicker communication would’ve made it a lot better.

It felt like they actually listened to what I was looking for. I got real personal help, not just a bunch of random job links thrown at me lol. Made the whole thing feel way less stressful

At first, everything seemed like it was going okay, so I kind of assumed the rest would be smooth too. But the follow-up was really inconsistent. A couple emails got quick replies, then other times I’d hear nothing for days. Maybe it’s a shortcut in my head, but when communication is that uneven, I start to feel like the whole process isn’t very reliable.

BCG Search actually gave me a good read on which firms were hiring and which practice areas seemed to have momentum. It wasn’t just a bunch of recycled job listings, which I appreciated. Reading between the lines, you could get a better sense of where the market was active and what kinds of roles might be worth paying attention to.
The only reason I’d put it at 4 stars instead of 5 is that the follow-up emails and calls started to feel like a bit much at times. That said, the info was helpful overall, and it did make me feel more informed about my options

I wasn’t totally sure what to expect when I reached out to BCGSearch.com, and I kind of wondered if I was even doing the right thing. But I sent my info in the morning, and they got back to me much faster than I thought they would.

The process moved along without me feeling like I had to keep checking in or second-guessing every step. I still wasn’t sure how everything would go, but having such a quick response made it feel a lot less stressful, which I really appreciated.

The whole process wasn’t super transparent, and I found myself not really knowing what was going on at certain points. That part was weird and made the experience feel more confusing than it needed to be.

At first I thought maybe I was overthinking it, but the way my information was handled felt a little too casual. I asked for clear answers and didn’t really get them, which made me even more uneasy. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, actually, no, I just don’t feel comfortable using them again.

I tried using BCGSearch, the job matches I got were nowhere near what I was looking for. A lot of them felt kind of random and didn’t really fit my background or experience. Maybe I just had a bad run, but based on this, it made me wonder how accurate their matching is in general. It ended up feeling like a waste of time and was frustrating.

BCG Search helped me get placed at a new firm after a few weeks. It wasn’t instant, and there was definitely some back and forth along the way, but they kept following up and didn’t let things just sit. I was juggling a few things at the same time too, so having them stay on top of it helped. Overall, I’m happy with how it turned out. Solid experience, 4 stars...

I felt like they truly cared about what came next for me. It was such a relief to have that kind of support, and I’m really grateful for how they looked out for me.

I mostly used BCG Search for resume and profile tips, like how to word my experience, what to highlight, how to make my practice areas sound stronger, and even little things like formatting and summaries. Some of the advice was genuinely useful and gave me a better sense of what law firms might care about, like deal experience, specific responsibilities, credentials, writing samples, that kind of thing. But a few parts felt broad, like advice you could apply to almost anyone, whether you’re a litigator, corporate associate, junior attorney, senior associate, or whatever. I still had to spend a lot of time figuring out what actually fit my background. Overall, it wasn’t bad at all, and I did get something out of it, but I was hoping for more personal feedback and less general guidance.
